Cover Letter Draft due in class: October 13, 2016
Due: October 18, 2016 12 PM via Sakai “Assignments”

Your resume should give a clear outline of what you experience you have that has prepared you for the job. It should be well-organized and communicate clearly and efficiently.

Your cover letter should communicate why you’re interested in your prospective employer and explain why the organization will benefit from employing you. There are two easy, common, and MAJOR mistakes job searchers make: surface errors (like grammar mistakes and misspelled words) and bragging.

We will discuss in class the conventions of this genre. Samples are available via UCS and on Sakai.
